Free 4–5 Month Old Baby Swim Lesson Policy

 Blue Fin Swim School is pleased to offer free swimming lessons for babies aged 4 and 5 months.

This initiative is designed to help families introduce their baby to the water in a gentle, positive and supportive environment from an early age.

Eligibility

Free lessons are available to babies who are:

4 or 5 months old at the time of enrolment; and enrolled into an appropriate Parent & Child class, subject to availability.

 When Fees Begin

Once a baby turns 6 months old, free lessons will no longer apply.

From the date the baby turns 6 months, the family will be required to pay for the remaining lessons in the current term.

The amount payable will be calculated based on the number of lessons remaining in the term from the baby’s 6-month birthday onwards.

 Example

If a baby turns 6 months old part-way through the term, the family will only be charged for the lessons remaining after their 6-month birthday.

 Enrolment Conditions

Free lessons are subject to class availability and must be booked through Blue Fin Swim School.

Families are required to follow all normal Blue Fin Swim School policies, including attendance, make-up lesson and safety policies.

 Make-Up Lessons

Make-up lessons are not available for free lessons missed while the child is 4 or 5 months old.

Once the child turns 6 months and paid lessons begin, the standard Blue Fin make-up lesson policy will apply.

 Ongoing Enrolment

Families wishing to continue lessons after their baby turns 6 months must pay the remaining term fees to secure their place in the class.

If payment is not received, Blue Fin Swim School may release the position to another family.

 Policy Purpose

This policy is intended to encourage early water familiarisation and provide families with an opportunity to begin their baby’s swimming journey in a calm and supportive environment.
